Digital Marketing Coordinator

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is a challenging role, offering great exposure to eCommerce and marketing activity across a wide range of outdoor brands. With varied responsibilities ranging from website management, content production and PR, this is a truly unique opportunity for a self-starter looking to develop their skill set.

You will be responsible for driving revenue using innovative strategies and improving website performance for multiple brands to deliver a positive user experience. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, assisting in the execution of key marketing initiatives, including PR and content production.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Management (Shopify)

  • Product merchandising across all websites to showcase new product collections and drive revenue
  • Implement new website designs when required to provide a positive and inspiring customer experience
  • Proactively propose innovative ways to engage our audience, increase revenue and improve the overall online experience
  • Manage our loyalty programs and proactively propose new ways to add value to our members and drive revenue
  • Develop content for each brands website to drive stronger SEO results
  • Support the broader Customer Service team by managing live chat (ZenDesk) for the eCommerce platforms to provide a prompt and positive experience for customers

Marketing & PR

  • Create engaging and shareable content for our key brands and distribute it across multiple platforms to achieve increased brand awareness
  • Organise and distribute PR gifts when required and report any media placements
  • Seek opportunities for social partnerships and collaborations with like-minded persons or brands
  • Assist with event preparation and marketing activity, as required
  • Ensure all digital platforms maintain their TOV and brand guidelines

Content Development and Distribution

  • Support content production which includes assisting on set at photoshoots, sourcing locations, photographers and stylists.
  • Social media management: this includes posting organic content on platforms and responding to marketing-related enquiries.
  • Digital advertising: implementing and optimising digital advertising across social media and Google Adwords
  • Implement planned email marketing activity with the goal of improving the customer experience while maximising revenue from every subscriber
  • Manage end-to-end email campaigns including planning, segmenting, set-up, testing, reporting and optimisation
  • Coordinate content distribution for our Retail and Wholesale customers through our Digital Asset Management platform
  • Support our Retail network with content distribution to stores and centre marketing teams
  • Work in Canva and the Adobe Cloud Suite to manage the distribution of creative across all platforms


  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
  • A self-starter attitude that is solutions-focussed and innovative
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task efficiently
  • Ability to troubleshoot and communicate efficiently
  • Strong organisation skills

Technical skills:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a marketing role, either full-time or internship
  • Minimum 1+ years of eCommerce experience
  • A strong interest in digital marketing
  • Experience with social media management
