NSW Territory Manager– Footwear and Outdoor Brands

We are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Phoenix Leisure Group. Based in our Sydney office and managing our NSW account base, this position would be ideal for a self-motivated, highly organized individual who is passionate about camping, hiking and life in the outdoors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the established NSW wholesale customer base across the portfolio of outdoor hard goods and outdoor footwear brands distributed by Phoenix Leisure Group nationally
  • Be the key contact for the wholesale customer base across the territory.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory
  • Be a product expert, have an intimate knowledge of all products across all brands
  • Work to deadlines and order cut-off dates
  • Provide regular progress reports and commentary regarding Sales performance by account and brand
  • Provide in-store support as required for all National accounts
  • Provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager regarding seasonal range and future product development opportunities
  • Provide regular input and competitive analysis across all categories and brands.
  • Identify and implement account-specific marketing support programs
  • Identify and implement account-specific staff training programs

Candidate requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Sales experience with the ability to work autonomously as required
  • Be able to work under instruction
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
  • A strong focus on time management and results
  • Highly organized with outstanding follow-up and communication skills
  • Problem-solve and able to perform under pressure
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory as required
