Rossignol Demo Centre Manager

Position Description
The Rossignol Pro Shop is located at the base of the Crackenback chairlift in Thredbo Village and provides customers the ability to demo or purchase skis, boots and a range of accessories. The Rossignol Pro Shop is located next door to the Thredbo Ski Race Club (TSRC) with between 200-300 members each season. The successful applicant will work closely with this group and be responsible for a comprehensive demo program that is exclusively Rossignol.
Rossignol is the official ski sponsor of Thredbo resort of which we host up to four Rossignol on-snow ski tests per year, two Rossignol alpine workshops and a Rossignol ladies’ weekend each season. The successful applicant will have some alpine skiing skills and the desire to host product information nights for guests when required. An exciting commission is offered on sales when achieving KPI’s.
The successful applicant will be friendly, well-groomed, honest and competent working alone at times. Phoenix Leisure Group will happily provide comprehensive training in each product line however a strong knowledge of Rossignol ski boots, skis and accessories will be preferred.
Requirements of successful applicant:
- Current drivers’ licence
- If non-Australian must be eligible for Australian holiday working visa
Phoenix Leisure Group will provide:
- 36-hour week with two days off
- Award wage with commission paid on any sales
- All ski equipment available for your personal use
Please be mindful that accommodation is not provided with this role. Seasonal accommodation is located in the local town of Jindabyne which is approx. 40 minutes away.
