Sales Manager – Footwear and Outdoor Brands
Phoenix Leisure Group is seeking an experienced, highly motivated individual to join our team and fill the newly created position of Wholesale Sales Manager. Our ideal candidate will be organised and have excellent communication skills.
A proven track record in nurturing and developing relationships, achieving and exceeding Sales targets, possessing brand strategy and development experience, and Sales Team management on a national level. A passion for camping, hiking, and living outdoors would be viewed positively.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage and support the National Sales team across all functions
- Manage and support our wholesale customer service and internal sales team
- Be a product expert, have an intimate knowledge of all products across all brands
- Assist with developing and implementing annual account and territory sales budgets by brand.
- Provide regular progress reports and commentary regarding Sales performance by Account / Territory / Brand
- Provide support to Key Account Managers as required across all brands
- Identify and help develop strategies to maximise new business opportunities within existing and potential new retail partners.
- Manage all sales and order deadlines across the Sales Team Nationally
- Provide input to the Product teams regarding seasonal range and future product development opportunities
- Provide regular input and competitive analysis across all categories and brands.
- Identify and implement account-specific marketing support programs
- Identify and implement account-specific staff training programs
- Ensure all customer service communications, tasks and responsibilities are maintained at an industry-leading standard.
Candidate requirements include but are not limited to:
- Proven track record in sales and sales team management
- Highly motivated and able to meet deadlines
- Results-driven with the ability to lead by example
- Problem-solve and able to perform under pressure
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to travel as required nationally
