Ski Boot Fitter

We are searching for a passionate and experienced boot fitter and snow ski sales team member to run our Rossignol Demo Centre in Thredbo for the 2024 ski season.

The Rossignol Demo Centre is located at the base of the Kosciuszko chairlift in Thredbo Village and provides customers with the ability to demo and/or purchase skis, boots and a range of accessories. Rossignol is the official ski sponsor of Thredbo resort of which we host up to four on-snow ski tests per year, two alpine workshops and a Rossignol ladies’ weekend each season.

We demo and sell the best ski brand in Australia and deliver to our customers high quality products with amazing, informative service.

THE ROLE:

Dates of Employment: June 1, 2024 - September 20, 2024

You will execute the day to day running of the Rossignol Demo Centre.

Daily duties include sales, customer service and demo of our products. Opening and closing, cash handling, store cleanliness and safety and exceeding sales targets via boot fitting, snow ski and accessories sales.

The successful applicant will work closely with customers and be responsible for a comprehensive demo program run exclusively by Rossignol. An attractive commission is offered on sales when achieving KPIs.

The role includes but not limited to:

  • Sharing your passion for snow sports and expert knowledge of Rossignol's cutting-edge equipment.
  • Assisting customers in selecting the perfect skis and boots tailored to their skill level and preferences.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable shopping experience.
  • Utilising your technical skills to perform precise boot fittings, ensuring optimal comfort and performance for our customers.

ABOUT YOU:

  • The successful applicant will be friendly, well-groomed, honest and competent.
  • All comprehensive training will be in each product line, however a strong knowledge of Rossignol ski boots, skis and accessories will be preferred.
  • Passion for snow sports and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing that passion with customers.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to create a positive and engaging shopping experience.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Current driver’s licence
  • If non-Australian, must be eligible for an Australian holiday working visa
